In 2021, Trinity began working as a caregiver, a role she instantly connected with. Her dedication to her clients was profound, and she found immense fulfillment in making a difference in their lives. Yet, Trinity’s journey didn’t stop there. A New Role, A Bigger Impact

By October 2021, Trinity made the leap from caregiving to becoming a Customer Service Representative at Family Resource Home Care. The decision was not easy, as she had to leave behind the close bonds she had formed with her clients. “It was a hard change because I loved my people so much,” she admits. However, Trinity knew that moving into the Customer Service Representative role would allow her to expand her impact beyond just a handful of clients. “I evaluated how many people I could realistically help,” she explains. “I wanted to spread my wings and move up in the company by touching more people daily instead of just six a day.”

This shift in perspective fueled her transition. Trinity realized that as a Customer Service Representative, she could support not only clients but also caregivers, offering guidance and assistance to a much larger audience. “It’s really cool because I feel like I can really support our clients and caregivers as a Customer Service Representative. It’s a great position for me, and it really aligned with my inner purpose,” she says with enthusiasm. Her goal has always been to make a larger impact, and in her new role, she’s doing just that.

Leveraging Caregiving Skills in a New Role

Trinity’s time as a caregiver laid a strong foundation for her success as a Customer Service Representative. She honed her problem-solving skills, learning to navigate challenges with optimism and an open mind. “My problem-solving skills are pretty wild and great,” she says with a smile. The experiences she gained in caregiving taught her to find alternative solutions, stay patient, and persevere through daily difficulties.

Trinity knows firsthand the challenges caregivers face, and this empathy allows her to support them more effectively. “I feel like I’m supporting people mentally through the phone because I know how it feels to be out there, trying to make the hard call or taking the initiative to make the right decision,” she explains.

When asked for advice for those considering a career in caregiving, Trinity is candid about the realities of the job. “There are going to be pretty days and hard days, but there is always someone to support you,” she advises. She emphasizes the importance of resilience and perseverance, qualities that are essential in navigating the challenges of caregiving.

Trinity also highlights the emotional aspect of caregiving, describing clients as “human storybooks” who need tender love and care. She believes that successful caregivers are those whose self-purpose aligns with the essence of caregiving. “It can be hit or miss if not,” she warns, underscoring the need for a deep connection to the role.

At the heart of Trinity’s journey is her unwavering compassion. “The biggest portion of myself is that I run entirely off of compassion,” she shares.
