Our History
We were founded in Spokane, WA over 50 years ago, making us the oldest home care agency in the country. We are still family-owned and operate on the principle that our employees are our family – it’s in our name.
We’ve had a variety of logos, owners and leaders over the years, but a single thing has always remained true: our unwavering commitment to be the best place to work and to provide the best care to our clients.
What is now Family Resource Home Care was founded under a different name in Spokane. Over the years, it had different owners but always continuously served home care clients.

They choose the name Family Resource Home Care. Jeff Wiberg becomes CEO of the merged company.

Notably, we retained each employee from Companion Care Inc., seamlessly transitioning them to become valuable members of the Family Resource Home Care team following the acquisition.
