Family Resource Home Care is dedicated to providing the day-to-day support people need, where they feel most comfortable, while constantly asking ourselves how we can serve people better.

We believe care is not a service you provide, but a connection you feel. This view drives our commitment to supporting best practices, honest communication and experienced caregivers who genuinely care.

Getting to know people and their preferences. Building partnerships of trust and kindness. Anticipating needs. These are some of the small, but meaningful ways we go beyond the common care plan. We know that the difference is in the details. From making a good match with a caregiver you will love, to care planning, scheduling, and supervision, we will work with your family to make your experience with Family Resource go smoothly.

Jeff Wiberg

Chief Executive Officer

Jeff started with Family Home Care in 2008 and became President and CEO in 2011. When Family Home Care merged with Family Resource Home Care in January 2018, Jeff became CEO of the combined companies. Jeff has worked in business leadership since 1996, is a Past President of the Washington Home Care Association, and a current board member of the Home Care Association of America. He loves spending time with family, gourmet cooking, playing the piano, and watching movies. Jeff lives in Spokane, WA with his wife and 5 children and is very active with his church. “I really love our employees and consider them to be the best in the business.”

David Lawrence

Board Chair, Director of Special Projects

After a successful 20-year career in the public schools, David founded Family Resource in 1996 and was President and CEO until January 2018. He was a founding member of the Washington Home Care Association in 2003, and President from 2011 – 2014. In his current role, David is able to provide oversight for the company and work on new projects to keep Family Resource moving forward. With 2 grown children, David and his wife Carla now look forward to having time to travel, volunteer, play music, garden, and read books again.

Sheila McKannay

Chief Operating Officer

Sheila is a support and resource to clients and families to make sure they have the information they need to age in place. She joined Family Resource in 2000 after 10 years working for Swedish Medical Center where she started and grew Home Helpers, the private duty home care program of Swedish’s Home Health and Hospice division. Sheila started at Family Resource as the Director of Client Care, became Vice-President of Client Care several years later, and was promoted to COO in January 2018. She is also the President of the Washington Home Care Association. Sheila enjoys hiking & cooking with her husband of 30 years, and spending lots of time with their 4 grown children.

Jason Wiberg

Chief Financial Officer

Jason worked in accounting for ten years in diverse settings including a small family-owned business and a large international finance corporation. In 2007, he switched careers to Information Technology and has since earned a business degree in IT management. Jason is very passionate about family and cars. “I am married to Tiffany and we have 3 awesome children named Cooper, Brody and Vanessa. Ask me about the car theme in my sons’ names!”

Tera Maki

Chief Human Resources Officer

Tera joined Family Resource Home Care in 2016. A life-long resident of the Spokane area, Tera graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management. Tera started in her HR career in 2007 and has developed a passion for organizational development. In her free time, she enjoys golfing and adventuring with her family and labradoodle, Cooper.

Gina Reynolds

Director of Clinical Services / Quality Assurance

Working in home care, home health, and hospitals, Gina has been a registered nurse for over 25 years. Gina is passionate about providing quality services that allow Family Resource clients to remain safe and independent in their homes. As a Certified Case Manager, she understands that collaborating with client, family, and community resources achieves the best outcomes for clients. Mother of four, her children are her proudest accomplishment.

Elizabeth Ohollaren

Director of Talent Acquisition & Training

Elizabeth is a certified Human Resources Leader with 13+ years in HR and Recruiting. Elizabeth’s focus is leading recruitment efforts to find and hire the best caregivers for Family Resource Home Care. She also maintains agency programs such as training, education, diversity, and recognition, to ensure increased employee retention and engagement. On a personal note, Elizabeth is a major dog lover. You can usually find her on the weekends at a dog park with her miniature teacup Yorkie, Audrey, and her Giant Alaskan Malamute, Aurora. They are hours upon hours of exercise and entertainment.
