“Every one of the Family Resource staff has a sincere desire to help. We are not just completing tasks and covering shifts; we truly want the very best for our clients, their families and for our caregivers.”

Pat LaDouceurWhat I Do

My role at Family Resource Home Care is to meet the needs of every person who calls the office. Sometimes that means directing the caller to a supervisor or someone in the accounting department who can help them with a question or concern. Since I am the first person on the other end of the phone often I can answer quick questions or help in other ways.

I enjoy it when I can genuinely show my concern, empathy, and compassion to help our clients, client families, caregivers, and everyone else who calls. First impressions mean so much, especially when you looking for services for a loved one.

On a Personal Note

Throughout my career I’ve worked in customer service in one way or another, caring to the needs of others. The health of a friend of mine has declined in the last 3 years. Family Resource has taught me how to be more understanding in acknowledging the changes that come with aging and, in turn, to express my compassion and help my friend through these times.
