What I Do
My role at Family Resource is to help our clients stay safe, healthy and happy in their own homes. I do this by being on the phone most of the day scheduling just the right caregiver with the right client. There are a lot of phone calls to make!
I have been involved with caregiving for over 20 years. When I was 18 I was trained and certified as a Nursing Assistant. I worked in nursing homes all through college. After school, I started to work in home care, which I much prefer.
Why home care.
I truly believe in what we do as a company. We are a close knit team of people who sincerely care about our clients and our caregivers.
I have many experiences in dealing with clients and caregivers that make me smile. The one experience that stands out for me is helping a client’s daughter get service started. She was so thrilled with what we could do for her and her mom. I really felt that we were making a huge difference in both of their lives!
When I’m not at work, I am at home with my husband and three children, Tanner, Fiona, and Liam. We love to take walks, cook family dinners, garden and play baseball.
